Kind of like a beatnick writer, I have been making my stops along the way. I have now made my way to the Florida Keys, I have been contracted for a nice little 65 seat restaurant, making the great food I grew up with. The simplicity of the menu is the real inspiration at this point. I am able to take the basics of great cooking and tie them into a delicious fair that is taking off fairly well with the semi fickled general public. Foodies and pedestrians alike have been coming in to enjoy the food. The name of my new place is fittingly enough TASTE. The best part of being in this place is the fish, once again I am able to get fish so fresh they are still moving in the bucket the captains deliver them in.

I’d like to say thanks to the Texan’s that have loyaly supported the budding culinary scene, in San Antonio. My adventures in the scene down here has brought me to a meca of sorts at Silo’s, and I have been able to keep pushing the limits of creativity, flavor profiles, and presentation.
Thanks for all the support Texas,
Chef J.

Quite simple really, most good things start through generally good times. Paper…paper is a neccesity as well. Here we gathered our thoughts on some innocent white paper. It was almost easy, as we take everything that currently exists…and do somewhat opposite. From start to finish we were able to draw out the details. Some ideas were trashed, most kept. Of course food was a part, our meal that evening actually kept us grounded. Not letting us forget slow food, home food, and beer.

The site came about from an idea, to merge two fields together (food and technology) in a way that had not been done before. Another 2 videos recorded, and 2 PC data crashes later, there is not much to show. This video here is close to all that was saved. It is the intro to the videos. Enjoy.

Thanks for stopping by. As you see, our site is now revamped and ready to continue in the DCC style of feeding your eyes…among other parts. The site features several powerful tools to enhance your experience and keep you in complete touch with the “realtime” status of the DCC. Our calendar to the right lists our current and upcoming events. By utilizing our contact page you can get in touch with us to add into our calendar, yet here you have the ability to see what dates we have to work with prior to your contact to enhance the setup process. Our search is a very powerful tool, while it may be light right now, it will grow with the content as the days and events pass on. Coming is the photolog, here you will be able to view realtime shots of any event in progress. As well as the event page will alert you to the latest happenings for a particular event. We here at the DCC are very excited for what the site can do for us, and ultimately you. So please, have a look around and throw us an email through our contact page, you can say anything you want!
